Advantages of oil seal:
1. The main sealing lip is preloaded by springs to ensure optimal sealing of the medium when rotating, while compensating for potential shaft runout and eccentricity failures. The optimized geometry of the sealing lip ensures reduced friction and longer product life.
2. The inner diameter of the seal is designed to provide better static sealing to low or high viscosity fluids and to reduce installation effort during assembly.
3. The curved metal cage on the outside of the seal facilitates assembly and disassembly and prevents the seal from separating during transportation or maintenance operations.
4. The rubber baffle is a non-contact barrier that restricts the entry of external contaminants.
5. Additional anti-pollution sealing lip
The additional sealing lip can be radial or axial, depending on the cassette seal profile and the additional barrier against external contaminants.
6. The metal part of the cage in contact with the sealing lip is ground to improve surface toughness, reduce friction and prolong the service life of the seal.
