Leakage caused by improper use of O-type oil seals

1. The pressure to be sealed is too high or the O-type oil seal leaks due to excessive impact pressure. Generally, an O-type oil seal without a retaining ring is used as a static seal. The pressure can be relatively large, but it is used for dynamic sealing. If the pressure exceeds 4 trillion Pa, oil may leak, so a retaining ring is generally required. The pressure shock will make the local instantaneous pressure several times higher than normal, which may cause the O-type oil seal to lose its sealing performance instantly. If it is a high-pressure dynamic seal within 25MPa, Y, U, V-shaped lip seals can be used instead;
2. When the O-type oil seal is used for rotary sealing, the linear speed should not be too high, generally 0.3~0.5m/s, otherwise oil leakage will occur;
3. Use the twist or twist in the O-type oil seal to cause leakage; the measures to prevent the distortion of the O-type oil seal include: correctly design and process the sealing groove to ensure the machining accuracy and installation accuracy. When assembling the O-ring seal, do not twist it into the groove. Grease the grooves before installing the o-rings. For areas prone to twisting even at low pressure, a sealing baffle ring structure should be provided. During operation, the contact surface of the O-type oil seal can ensure that there is enough lubricating oil, and the Guangzhou oil seal seals that are not easy to be twisted are used; such as D-shape, T-shape, etc., the oil seal seals are made of materials with low friction coefficient;
