Rubber oil seal
①Metal/rubber outer diameter
The outer diameter design of the seal provides a better static seal for low or high viscosity fluids, limited springback effects, accurate positioning and a solid foundation for sealing in its housing, and better heat dissipation.
②Pre-lubrication area
Depending on the application, a compatible lubricant is applied to different areas inside the seal, which allows for better heat dissipation, lubricates the additional sealing lip during rubbing and prevents the ingress of external contaminants.
③Rubber bumper
Rubber bumpers properly position the sleeve to the main sealing lip. They also use a variety of additional barriers to ensure an appropriate level of confinement or interference and reduce the entry of external contaminants into the system.
④Main sealing lip
The main sealing lip is preloaded by a spring, ensuring optimum sealing against the media while rotating, while compensating for potential shaft runout and eccentric failures. The optimized geometry of the sealing lip ensures reduced friction and longer product life.
⑤Metal/rubber outer diameter
The inner diameter of the seal is designed to provide a better static seal for low or high viscosity fluids and reduce installation effort during assembly.
