1. During installation, if the outer surface of the shaft diameter is low in roughness or has defects such as rust spots, corrosion, and burrs, it should be smoothed with fine emery cloth or oilstone; apply clean oil or lubricating grease to the lip of the oil seal or the corresponding position of the shaft diameter. Coat the outer ring of the oil seal with sealant, wrap the keyway on the shaft with hard paper to avoid scratching the lip of the oil seal, use a special tool to rotate the oil seal inward and press it in, and do not hit hard to prevent the oil seal from being deformed Or break the spring and fail; if the lip flanging occurs, the spring falls off and the oil seal is skewed, it must be removed and reinstalled. It should be noted that: when the shaft diameter is not worn and the spring force of the oil seal is sufficient, do not tighten the inner spring without authorization.
2. Always check the oil level of the engine oil. If there are too many impurities in the engine oil, such as alloy powder and metal iron filings, it is necessary to completely replace the engine oil with new ones. The brand and quality of the oil to be changed must meet the requirements of the season. It is recommended to add Maitre Super Sealant & Lubricant to the oil, it is an excellent gearbox additive, which can form an inert material film on the parts, it can slow down the leakage of the oil seal and prolong the service life of the oil seal gear It can also reduce the noise of the gearbox, and the use of this Maitre super seal lubricant will not pollute the oil or deteriorate the oil.
