1. Before installation, the car oil seal should be smeared with lithium-based ester added with molybdenum disulfide in an appropriate amount between the lips to prevent dry grinding of the lips when the shaft starts instantaneously, affecting the interference of the lips, and preventing the shaft from drying out. It should be assembled as soon as possible. If the oil seal seat where the oil seal is installed is not installed immediately, it is recommended to cover it with a cloth to prevent foreign matter from adhering to the oil seal. Hands or tools coated with lithium grease must be clean.
2. The oil seal should be flat mounted and should not be inclined. It is recommended to use hydraulic equipment or socket tools for installation. The pressure should not be too high, the speed should be even and slow.
3. Oil or lubricating oil should be applied when the oil seal of the automobile is installed, and the shaft end and shoulder should be rounded.
4. When installing the oil seal, make sure that the lip end faces the side of the oil to be sealed, and avoid reverse assembly.
5. When the oil package is inserted into the seat hole, it should be pushed in with a special tool to prevent the position from being skewed.
6. Various measures should be taken to prevent damage to the lip at the threads, keyways, splines, etc. where the oil seal lip passes, and special tools should be used to assemble it.
7. Avoid bumping the inner surface of the cavity and the surface of the shaft when removing the oil seal.
8. The used oil seal, no matter how good the appearance is, can no longer be used, and must be replaced with a new oil seal.
9. When the shaft surface is bumped or corroded, it must be repaired.
10. When installing a new oil seal, in order to keep it away from the old lip contact part, a gasket should be used to avoid the original friction marks.
